Same business.
Clearer website.
We reply within one business day. No long sales process.

What does $2,500 actually get you?
It's easier to show you than tell you.
We took the existing website of Hyatt's — a Buffalo business since 1959 — and asked: what would we do if they came to us today? Same brand. Clearer path for customers.
Desktop
Before: everything competes at once. After: search, departments, and a reason to choose a local shop — including “Buffalo's paintbox since 1959” and a real person on the phone.

Mobile
The existing site still behaves like a desktop page on a phone. The redesign was built for the smaller screen from the start.

What stayed.
The identity that makes Hyatt's Hyatt's.
The logo, color, and personality stayed. Art, Pantone, and sign-making are still the heart of the experience.
The goal isn't to make every local business look the same. It's to remove what's in the customer's way and build around what deserves to survive.
What changed.
A clear first step
The homepage explains what Hyatt's sells, why it's different, and where to go next.
A manageable catalog
Search is primary. The catalog is organized into departments instead of dozens of competing links.
A reason to shop local
"Buffalo's paintbox since 1959" — and a real phone number — say what Amazon can't.
This is what we mean by a $2,500 website.
Not a logo dropped into a template. We look at the business, the customer, and what's getting in the way — then design and build around those answers.
This is an independent redesign exercise created by 716 Ventures to demonstrate our design and development approach. Hyatt's is not a 716 Ventures client and did not commission, approve, or endorse this work.
Design, build, and launch — fixed scope.
This isn't a template with your logo dropped into it. We'll design the site around your business, your customers, and what you actually need the website to accomplish.

What $2,500 means
Scope agreed before we start.
The scope is agreed on before we start, and that's what you pay. The package is intentionally designed around the needs of a typical local business website — intake, design, build, and launch. You don't write a specification; that's our job.
We'll tell you before you commit.
If you need ecommerce, customer accounts, complex integrations, custom software, or something substantially larger, we'll tell you before you commit and figure out whether we're the right fit. We're not going to get halfway through your website and start sending change orders because a normal website needed a contact form.
Western New York businesses deserve better than a Wix leftover.
There are a lot of great local businesses with websites that haven't kept up with the businesses themselves. Maybe yours was built ten years ago. Maybe someone put it together on Wix when the shop opened and nobody has touched it since.
I've spent more than 25 years designing and building software. Western New York wasn't where I started, but it's home now — and part of what I want 716 Ventures to do is make that experience available to the businesses we see every day.
A restaurant doesn't need an enterprise digital transformation. A contractor doesn't need a six-month discovery engagement. You should be able to say what the business does and trust someone to take care of the rest.
Who this is for.
Mainstreet is for established small businesses that need a professional presence without turning the website into a project of its own.
If the primary job of the site is helping someone understand who you are and how to become a customer, this fits.
- Restaurants, shops & salons
- Contractors & trades
- Professional, medical & dental services
- Local organizations
